SCHOLARSHIP
REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Be currently enrolled in or accepted by an accredited USA College or University.
  • Be a full-time or part-time student.
  • Possess minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 (C+) on a 4.0 system at time of application.
  • Must be current or have prior youth ministry experience
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Have no criminal record or activity
  • Current or prior member of First Baptist Church Merrifield
  • Seminary/Divinity School Students must possess a 3.0 GPA and all other above listed requirements.

APPLICATION
SCREENING PROCESS

  • Applications will be reviewed by the Advisory Board.
  • First priority given to current members of FBCM.
  • Applicants may be asked to appear to clarify packet information.
  • Decisions and Announcement of Awards will be decided within a week of deliberations.
  • Applicants must be approved by Director/Co-Director.
